RPL Path groups set in the Russian Cup

On 17 August, Russian Cup RPL Path Group Stage draw took place in the Match TV studio.

16 teams participating in 2022/23 RPL season have been drawn in four groups with four teams each.

How do the groups look like?

Group A: FC Krasnodar, Lokomotiv Moscow, FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod, FC Khimki

Group B: Zenit St. Petersburg, Krylia Sovetov Samara, Spartak Moscow, Fakel Voronezh

Group C: Dynamo Moscow, Akhmat Grozny, FC Rostov, FC Orenburg

Group D: FC Sochi, CSKA Moscow, Ural Ekaterinburg, Torpedo Moscow

When will the fixtures take place?

Matchday 1: 31 August

Matchday 2: 14 September

Matchday 3: 29 September

Matchday 4: 5 October

Matchday 5: 19 October

Matchday 6: 19 November

What are Group Stage regulations?

Each team will play two matches against each side in the group. Teams finished first and second will advance to RPL Path play-off. Teams finished third will move to Regions Path, where First League, Second League and amateur teams participate. Last place teams will be eliminated.

Last season Cup winners are Spartak Moscow. Record holders on Cup wins in the Russian history of the tournament are Lokomotiv Moscow with nine trophies.
