Dynamo and Spartak have met for third time this year, and after two wins by the Red-Whites the hosts took revenge. One shot on target was enough for the White-Blues to get a winner, as Konstantin Tyukavin intercepted ball from Nail Umyarov and sent it past Aleksandr Selikhov. That was first Tyukavin goal this season in his second start, as Fedor Smolov was out of squad due to injury.

Anton Shunin continued his streak getting third clean sheet in a row. In the final minutes it was nervous near Dynamo goal after Nicola Moro was booked twice in a minute. Dynamo kept the score with 10-man marking first Spartak loss this RPL season.

Dynamo go second on 12 points, while Spartak stay as leaders with 13 points.
