Almost four months past since Sochi and Dynamo were fighting for the second place, and that time the Southern side won the battle. Having former White-Blues on the bench, as Aleksandr Tochilin and Vadim Garanin both worked at Dynamo Academy, Sochi took the control in the first minutes, and Georgy Melkadze was on fire.
Firstly, striker finished the attack shooting to the bottom corner and extending his scoring streak to three matchdays. Secondly, he assisted to Christian Noboa, who tied Quincy Promes and Eduard Spertsyan in the goal scorers’ race on seven goals. Between both goals Melkadze tried to score with bicycle kick, but Anton Shunin denied it, and Nikita Burmistrov’s goal from the rebound was cancelled because due to offside.
Dynamo caught their chance, when Soslan Dzhanaev made unsuccessful dribble, and the ball was stolen by Denis Makarov, he scored in the second straight game. Mathias Normann and Eli Dasa came on the field for the first time as Dynamo players, but their efforts were not enough to prevent the first loss for Slavisa Jokanovic in the Russian league matches.
Sochi and Dynamo are tied on 16 points, and the Southern side move to fourth, while the Moscow team go to sixth.
