Second RPL game at Luzhniki Stadium since returning saw Torpedo against Pari NN, two sides from bottom eight. They met four times in FNL, and all fixtures were won by Nizhny Novgorod. Mikhail Galaktionov’s side showed big attacking play, as his players produced 21 shots in total, and eight went on target, while Torpedo had five and one respectively. Dmitry Stotsky missed the target three times, and Dmitry Rybchinsky made three shots, one of them hit the post. Nikolay Kalinsky got his first minutes after recovering from injury, he came for final 30 minutes from the bench.
Ravil Netfullin left Torpedo with ten men, as he was awarded with two yellow cards, and the hosts kept clean sheet. Despite Timur Suleymanov sent the ball to the net in the final added minute, it was cancelled, as Kirill Gotsuk pushed the opponent in the box. Egor Baburin made second clean sheet in a row at Luzhniki, as he previously stay unbeaten against CSKA.
Two teams stand on the same positions, as Pari NN are tenth with 13 points, while Torpedo stay bottom on six points.
