There were two points between Akhmat and Orenburg before their own fixture at Gazovik Stadium, and Marcel Licka’s team won that gap. But the first half was taken by visitors from Grozny, Mohamed Konate reached assist from Mirsolav Bogosavac and scored his fourth goal this season. Orenburg came back in the second 45 minutes, team’s top scorer Vladimir Sychevoy hit the header being assisted by team’s top provider Lucas Vera. Sychevoy scored his seventh goal, and Vera earned fourth assist. Hosts’ pressure has been becoming bigger, and Timur Ayupov turned it into goal, his third in last three games. Orenburg’s winning streak reached three matchdays, and Akhmat suffered first defeat with Sergey Tashuev as head coach.

Orenburg pass Akhmat in the standings, so Licka’s team move to seventh with 18 points, while team from Grozny go down to eighth with one point less.
