Zenit reach ten-win milestone after beating Pari NN

Nizhny Novgorod was the place, where Zenit suffered their last defeat in the RPL match losing 0-1 to Aleksandr Kerzhakov’s team in the final match of the previous season. The leaders made comfortable lead against Mikhail Galaktionov’s side scoring two familiar goals after crosses from Douglas Santos. First one ended with Vyacheslav Karavaev’s shot and Daler Kuzyaev’s tip, next one became Claudinho’s show off, as he sent the volley after juggling. Malcom continued the hunt for Quincy Promes in the scorers’ race netting the ninth goal this season, and for the second time he was assisted by Ivan Sergeev. St. Petersburg’s team is the first one to reach ten wins this season.

Zenit continue leading the standings with 33 points, while Pari NN go eleventh on 13 points.
