Ural keep victorious in the heated Sochi match

Ural got their first season win in the home Cup fixture against Sochi, and they arrived for the second leg against Southern side on heating form with four-game winning streak. First half was full of productive corners, Yury Gazinsky scored the same headers twice marking first goals for Ekaterinburg and first career brace. Between these goals Sochi answered with their set piece, Igor Yurganov got the revenge, as he was an own-goal scorer in the first leg between these teams.

Rai Vloet scored in the second straight game, but his goal caused two serious injuries. The Dutch ran into Denis Adamov and left the pitch on stretchers, while Sochi keeper was also removed with concussion. Sochi cut the lead, Nikita Burmistrov used Emerson bad pass to Ilya Pomazun. The game was heated in the added time, as Ivan Miladinovic and Ramazan Gadzhimuradov conflicted, and whole teams was involved in hassle. As the result, Aleksey Kashtanov was sent off with second yellow card, and later Gadzhimuradov followed him being booked for the second time. The timer reached 108th minute, when the final whistle was done.

Sochi stay without points, while Ural join CSKA on top, but go behind due to head-to-head loss in Moscow.
