Fedor Chalov opened the score with masterpiece, he was surrounded by defenders, it did not prevent him to score with heel and reach mark of ten goals, first time since 2018/19 season, when he won scorers’ race. On the other side, there was Vladimir Sychevoy, and 11 minutes later Orenburg leader tied the game with header also scoring tenth goal this season. Just moment later Jorge Carrascal sent the ball to the penalty area, but Renato Gojkovic’s touch changed the direction and turned it into the own goal, the second for the team this season.

Despite trailing, the hosts spent the game with more ball possession, and in the second half Gojkovic earned a penalty being pulled by Sasa Zdjelar. Sychevoy not just tied the game but also tied Quincy Promes as the best RPL scorers so far with 11 goals each. This is the first time, when Orenburg and CSKA ended their match with draw in RPL.
