In the past two season both sides played four times in the FNL, and Orenburg got one win, while Fakel won three in a row. When score remained tied, the visitors missed two chances to make the lead, but Andrey Malykh blocked the shot, and in the counter attack Orenburg captain found Jimmy Marin with the cross, and midfielder from Costa Rica scored with head. Just minute later Vladimir Sychevoy tried to score with heel, and while ball was going, Marin hit it to the net leaving his top scorer without first place in the top scorers’ list and getting brace.

Brian Mansilla was on leading roles after the half-time, his goal was called off by assistant referee, who saw offside. Later the Argentinian led his countryman Gabriel Florentin to score third goal, and in the final 10 minutes Mansilla went to the penalty spot and made 4-0 opening his league score. Maksim Maksimov, who went on the field as captain, help Fakel to avoid biggest defeat this season, while Orenburg tied their record RPL win.

Orenburg go eighth with 22 points, while Fakel still 13th on 12 points.
