Winline RPL Winter Cup to be played at Al Nahyan and Baniyas Stadiums

Two Abu Dhabi stadiums have been chosen for hosting Winline RPL Winter Cup.

Al Nahyan Stadium has capacity of 15 894 spectators, it was opened in 1995. Stadium is named after royal family of UAE. Arena hosted eight matches during FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2003, before 2019 Asian Cup it was renovated, and five matches were held there during the tournament. Al Nahyan is home field for four-time UAE champions Al Wahda FC.

Baniyas Stadium was opened in 2010, its hosts are Bani Yas, UAE Pro League competitors. Officially the capacity of arena is 6927 spectators.

RPL Winter Cup will be held in Abu Dhabi between 2 and 11 February. Four RPL teams will be participants, among them are Spartak Moscow, FC Rostov, FC Krasnodar and FC Sochi.
