RPL Winter Camps: Tsypchenko scores in two matches, Zenit leave Qatar with win

On 28 January, three RPL teams participated in friendly matches.

Zenit St. Petersburg 3-0 Lusail City

RPL leaders spent the last day of Qatar camp beating another second division team – three days ago Zenit scored nine unanswered goals against Al-Bidda. Andrey Mostovoy broke the deadlock in the first half, while Mateo Cassierra and 18-year-old Danila Kozlov were the scorers in the second half. Sergey Semak’s team moved to Dubai, where they will start the camp on 1 February.

Krylia Sovetov Samara 3-0 SKA Khabarovsk

In the first of two games played this day Krylia beat SKA Khabarovsk from First League top 5. Samara got two-goal lead in the first five minutes. Dmitry Tsypchenko scored from Nikolay Rasskazov’s assist, then Vladimir Khubulov converted the penalty. Third goal came from Ilya Gaponov in the final minutes of second half.

Krylia Sovetov Samara 1-2 Rubin Kazan

Second match against First League side ended with defeat for RPL club. It was second time, when Nikolay Rasskazov made an assist to Dmitry Tsypchenko, the only Krylia scorer in this game. Rubin goals were scored by Egor Teslenko and Aleksandr Lomovitsky.

FC Khimki 1-2 Veles Moscow

Moscow Region team also made two games in one day, morning one they ended with loss from First League team. Ayub Batsuev and Oleg Smirnov scored for Veles, while Aleksandr Dyakonov brought the only goal for Khimki in the end of second half.

FC Khimki 2-0 Pyunik Yerevan

Beating 15-time Armenia champions Spartak Gogniev’s team got first win of the winter camps. One of goal scorers was Aleksandr Rudenko.
