On 30 January, three RPL teams were involved in friendly matches at UAE and Turkey camps.
Ural Ekaterinburg 0-1 Rodina-2 Moscow
Viktor Gancharneko’s team started the day facing second Rodina team, which competes in the Second League. Teams played 60-minute game (2 halves of 30 minutes), and Nikita Trapitsyn scored the winning goal for Rodina nine minutes before the final whistle.
Ural Ekaterinburg 0-1 Rodina Moscow
Meeting the first Rodina team, coached by former Ural manager Dmitry Parfenov, ended with the same result for RPL side. After six minutes of play Mukhammad Sultonov, played first part of the season for Torpedo Moscow, beat Ilya Pomazun, and his goal remained the only this game.
Fakel Voronezh 2-1 Slavia Sofia
Match against seven-time Bulgarian champions was first for Fakel at their second camp in Turkey. Roman Akbashev gave the lead with quick goal, and newcomer Evgeny Markov was the winning goal scorer on the 68th minute. Slavia scheduled another friendly against RPL team, it will be Orenburg on 31 January.
Akhmat Grozny 2-0 FK Buxoro
Back promoted to Uzbekistan Super League side was the first opponent for Akhmat at second Turkish camp. RPL team scored twice in the second half through 18-year-old Magomed Yakuev and new signing Nene Gbamble goals, the African player also made an assist to youngster’s goal.
