On 31 January, CSKA and Orenburg participated in friendly matches in Turkey.
FC Orenburg 1-2 Slavia Sofia
Bulgarian team lost to Fakel the day before, and Slavia made revenge beating Orenburg. Nikolay Titkov broke the deadlock 15 minutes after kick-off, but in the next eleven minutes Sofia team scored twice and then kept the score to get the win.
CSKA Moscow 6-0 Alania Vladikavkaz
The Armymen made a huge win against second-placed First League team scoring three goals in both halves. In the first 45 minutes Ivan Oblyakov opened the score, while Fedor Chalov got the brace. After the break Chalov reached hat-trick, then 19-year-old Aleksey Slivin and Anton Zabolotny made the scoresheet. Alania will face another RPL team on 15 February, Dynamo Moscow.
