Cup knock-out stages started in Rostov, and the visitors got early lead after handball from Aleksandr Selyava and Aleksey Kashtanov confident shot from penalty. Egor Golenkov, top scorer of the tournament with five goals, started as only striker, but after he was joined by Nikolay Komlichenko, Rostov found the equalizer, as duo of Utkin and Komlichenko worked well again.

Second leg will be played at Ekaterinburg Arena on Monday 27 February. The winner on aggregate will move to RPL Path semi-finals, while eliminated team will join Regions Path quarter-finals.
