Igor Lebedenko passes Sergey Natalushko as oldest Russian championship scorer

Torpedo Moscow striker Igor Lebedenko became the oldest scorer in Russian championship history after getting a goal against Krasnodar in RPL Matchday 18.

On this day, Lebedenko was 39 years, 9 months, and 6 days old. He replaced Ilya Stefanovich on 72nd minite and equalized eight minutes later. Forward passed previous record holder Sergey Natalushko, who scored for Saturn on 17 May 2000 being 39 years, 8 months, and 4 days old.

Lebedenko made RPL debut in 2002, he represented Torpedo, Lokomotiv, Satrun, Rostov, Rubin and Terek in the top division. After playing 387 matches Igor got 61 goals.
