Last time Rostov visited Arena Khimki was in September, when Maksim Osipenko scored late winning goal from penalty to Torpedo. History repeated, and Rostov took another three points at Khimki arena through penalty; Nikolay Komlichenko suffered a kick from Brayan Idowu, VAR advised to give a penalty, and Osipenko took the shot successfully, now he has four goals getting three of the from the spot. Another bad news to Khimki came, when Janio Bikel earned direct red card for dangerous play in the center of the field. Nevertheless, with ten men the hosts were close to equalize, but Sergey Pesyakov stopped Christian Tassano saving the ball on the goal line.
Rostov go second with 41 points dropping Spartak to third, while Khimki are 15th on 13 points.
