CSKA never won in Voronezh during previous Fakel seasons in Russian top division earning three draws and one defeat. Ivan Oblyakov got involved in penalty, as he was tripped by Irakly Kvekveskiri, and Fedor Chalov extended his scoring streak to three league matches. Oblyakov reminded himself in the second half, when he was the first on ball, thrown off by Anton Zabolotny, and capitalized the moment into the second goal. The Armymen are only second opponents for Fakel, who left Voronezh with win in RPL match, previous successors were Spartak.

CSKA move up to fourth with 38 points, while Fakel go 14th on 17 points.
