Konate brace helps Akhmat with big win at Luzhniki

Before this season Akhmat never beat Torpedo in RPL, but after getting 1-0 win at home in first leg Grozny team added bigger success in Moscow. Darko Todorovic, Mohamed Konate and Vladislav Kamilov brought three-goal advantage in first 45 minutes, for Todorovic and Kamilov those were first goals for the team in RPL.

Ilya Stefanovich confirmed as most impact Torpedo player in spring scoring fourth time since winter break, but Akhmat finished off with two more goals; Konate made brace to reach ten-goal mark, and Gamid Agalarov ended his goalless league streak counting since goal against Fakel in Matchday 2. This 5-1 win is second biggest for Akhmat in RPL following 5-0 score against Krasnodar in April 2021.

Akhmat are fifth with 43 points, while Torpedo remain bottom on 13 points.
