All editions of Sochi vs Rostov Southern Derby at Fisht Stadium ended with hosts wins, the last one became fourth in a row. Dmitry Khokhlov team earned big advantage in total attempts producing 22 against seven from Rostov, they also made three more shots on target (8-5), and Timofey Shipunov was the player, who converted one of it into winning goal finishing the assist from Vladislav Sarveli. Both participants of goaling attack came from the bench in the second half. 19-year-old Shipunov scored second time this season, and Sochi got second win since Khokhlov took the duties of interim manager.

Sochi go to ninth on 37 points replacing Lokomotiv, while Rostov keep third with 50 points.
