Baltika Kaliningrad got promotion for 2023/24 RPL season following 0-0 draw between Akron and Alania in First League Matchday 32 fixture.
Baltika are top of league standings with 64 points in 31 matches. Alania are third on 56 points after drawing with Akron, Vladikavkaz won’t overtake Kaliningrad in remaining two matches. Baltika will play against Rubin Kazan in Matchday 32 on 20 May at home.
Baltika had been playing in Russian top league since 1996 to 1998, their best result is seventh place in 1996. Team is coached by Sergey Ignashevich, six-time RPL champion as player, won first title in Lokomotiv and added five more in CSKA.
