Zenit break Orenburg hopes for first head-to-head win

Crowned RPL champions won all seven previous matches against Orenburg in RPL, and Zenit made first step to make eighth straight, when Mateo Cassierra made an interception and led Gustavo Mantuan to goal. Orenburg answer came before half-time; Aleksandr Ektov was little faster than Gabriel Florentin in making the final touch for scoring. Renato Gojkovic brought the lead over guests after corner kick, but like a week ago, Zenit got an equalizer in the final minute of added time, when joker Ivan Sergeev caught the pass from Mantuan and sent the ball past Nikolay Sysuev.

Zenit go first on 66 points, while Orenburg are eighth with 40 points.
