Akhmat make two club records defeating Khimki

Akhmat came from two Moscow trips with two big wins and aggregate score 8-1, and there was no mercy for Khimki, coached by former Akhmat manager Andrey Talalaev. Vladislav Karapuzov proved his spot in the starting 11, he got the ball from Evgeny Kharin and finished the breakaway with first season goal. In the second half Akhmat extended the advantage using corner kicks; one ended with Artem Timofeev header, later Kharin got the rebound and scored through ricochet, both improved their season best with eighth and fifth goal respectively.

Akhmat still fifth with 49 points and 47 scored goals, both stats are new club records in RPL. Khimki go 15th on 18 points, and if Pari NN win over Sochi on Monday, the Red-Blacks will lose last chances to leave relegation zone.
