Southern Derby was held third time this season; Rostov made comeback at home in first RPL leg turning 0-2 gap to 3-2 win, while in the Russian Cup Krasnodar passed the opponent through penalty shootout. In Rostov the Bulls made 2-0 lead in 32 minutes, almost at the same time they scored three goals. Former Rostov Aleksey Ionov upset the visitors with quick goal being assisted by Jhon Cordoba. The Colombian doubled the lead himself but finished the match earlier due to injury. Krasnodar Academy graduate Aleksandr Koksharov played just four minutes, when he scored first ever RPL goal with head, while another Bulls native Sergey Volkov was an assistant.
Krasnodar extended unbeaten streak to four games, Bulls are sixth with 46 points, while Rostov, suffered third straight defeat, go fourth on 50 points.
