Malcom wins RPL Player of the Season award

Zenit St. Petersburg forward Malcom became RPL Player of the Season at first Winline RPL Heroes award ceremony.

Ten players reached the final stage of voting, these were Ivan Oblyakov, Fedor Chalov, Igor Akinfeev (all from CSKA), Quincy Promes, Aleksandr Sobolev (both from Spartak), Malcom (Zenit), Eduard Spertsyan (Krasnodar), Artem Dzyuba (Lokomotiv), Vladimir Pisarsky (Orenburg / Krylia Sovetov), Lucas Vera (Orenburg).

This season Malcom won fourth RPL title with Zenit and became league top scorer with 23 goals. Malcom earlier was named best forward of the season; he also entered the Team of the Season.
