All Winline RPL Heroes laureates

On Sunday 4 June, first Winline RPL Heroes award ceremony took place in Moscow.

Winners were announced in 15 main nominations. The laureates were chosen through voting procedure, which was held in three stages: journalists voting, fans voting and experts voting, the last one also included RPL clubs captains and head coaches voices.

Sports nominations

Player of the Season: Malcom (Zenit St. Petersburg)

Head coach of the Season: Vladimir Fedotov (CSKA Moscow)

Goalkeeper of the Season: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow)

Defender of the Season: Douglas Santos (Zenit St. Petersburg)

Midfielder of the Season: Eduard Spertsyan (FC Krasnodar)

Forward of the Season: Malcom (Zenit St. Petersburg)

Goal of the Season: Konstantin Maradishvili (Lokomotiv vs FC Rostov, Matchday 2)

Assist of the Season: Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow vs FC Sochi, Matchday 2)

Marketing nominations

Merchandise of the Season: Dynamo Moscow (“Friendly collection”, dedicated to friendship with CSKA)

Match Day of the Season: FC Krasnodar (Lazer show before FC Krasnodar vs Zenit)

Promo Video of the Season: Spartak Moscow (“We Are Spartak. And We Don’t Give Up”, dedicated to derby Spartak vs CSKA)

Journalist of the Season: Andrey Pankov (Championat.com)

Social project of the Season: CSKA Moscow (“Team of good deeds”)

TV Commentator of the Season: Konstantin Genich (Match TV)

Media Player of the Season: Artem Dzyuba (Lokomotiv Moscow)

Some special awards also were given at ceremony.

Fans choice award: Quincy Promes (Spartak Moscow). Promes got the best result during fans voting for Player of the Season.

Best Coach Abroad: Stanislav Cherchesov (Ferencvarosi TC). Former Russia national team coach led Ferencvarosi to two straight titles in Hungarian top league. 

Another special nomination was Team of the Season, supported by MIR payment system, title partner of RPL.

Defenders: Moises (CSKA Moscow), Maksim Osipenko (FC Rostov), Georgy Dzhikiya (Spartak Moscow), Douglas Santos (Zenit St. Petersburg)

Midfielders: Wendel (Zenit St. Petersburg), Ruslan Litvinov (Spartak Moscow), Eduard Spertsyan (FC Krasnodar)

Forwards: Malcom (Zenit St. Petersburg), Fedor Chalov (CSKA Moscow), Quincy Promes (Spartak Moscow)
