Relegation play-off
2nd leg
Fakel Voronezh 2-0 Enisey Krasnoyarsk
Saturday 10 June, Central Stadium of Trade Unions, Voronezh
Goals: Fakel – Akbashev (pen 10, 70)
This year only CSKA and Orenburg left Voronezh with wins, in other matches Fakel earned two wins and two draws. Evgeny Markov could not score during regular RPL season, but in relegation play-off he became the key scoring winning goal in Krasnoyarsk and getting the penalty in the first minutes of second leg, the shot was converted by Roman Akbashev. Since Vadim Evseev joining the Fakel staff, Akbashev has been making biggest impact, as he was involved in last four of five goals in RPL season (3+1). Midfielder confirmed leading status in the second half and beat Evgeny Staver again making the brace. Vadim Evseev became first coach both to participate and win relegation play-off battles with three RPL teams, previously doing it with Amkar in 2018 and Ufa in 2019.
Fakel won 3-0 on aggregate and stayed in RPL.
