Sergey Semak set new Super Cup record for coaches becoming four-time winner

Zenit St. Petersburg head coach Sergey Semak became four-time Russian Super Cup winner after his team defeated CSKA Moscow in Kazan (0-0, 5-4 penalties).

Semak, hired by club in 2018, led the Blue-White-Sky Blues to winning Super Cup in 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. He became the first coach to win four trophies and left behind Yury Semin, who got three titles with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Other winning coaches were Valery Gazzaev (2006, 2007), Kurban Berdyev (2010, 2010), Leonid Slutsky (2013, 2014), Artur Jorge (2004), Dick Advocaat (2008), Zico (2009), Luciano Spalletti (2011), Andre Villas-Boas (2015), Mirca Lucescu (2016) & Viktor Gancharenko (2018).

After beating CSKA in Kazan Zenit also became club with most titles in Super Cup winning eight times in eleven appearances.
