Zenit overcome Ural in friendly match

On 27 January, Zenit St. Petersburg and Ural Ekaterinburg met each other in the friendly match, took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Zenit won 1-0 through late goal by Mateo Cassierra; RPL top scorer stole the ball from Aleksey Mamin and sent it to the net with couple minutes left in the second half. This is third straight win for Sergey Semak team; they beat Dinamo Samarqand and Jeonbuk both with 5-1 score in previous matches. Ural played second test match of the camps; five days ago, they beat Gulf United 2-1.

Tomorrow Zenit will face Al Fateh from Saudi Arabia in the final fixture of UAE camp. Ural will play next match against another RPL team, Lokomotiv Moscow, on 31 January.
