Cameroon & Ngamaleu eliminated from Africa Cup

On 27 January, two RPL representatives played in Africa Cup of Nations and CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament matches.

Nigeria 2-0 Cameroon

Dynamo forward Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu returned to Cameroon starting 11 and spent 86 minutes making his second appearance at the tournament. It did not prevent the Lions from elimination, as Ademola Lookman, Atalanta teammate of Aleksey Miranchuk, scored brace. It’s second time in the last three competitions, when Cameroon leave Africa Cup after Round of 16.

CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament

Uruguay U-23 0-1 Chile U-23

Dynamo defender Nicolas Marichal played 76 minutes against Chile, and his team suffered second straight defeat in the Olympic qualification to move bottom of the group without points after two matches. Next, Uruguay will face Peru on 30 January.

Whom to follow on 28 January

At Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 matches will continue, and DR Congo, who have Spartak midfielder Theo Bongonda, will battle Egypt for quarterfinals.
