RPL Commission visited Lukoil Arena

Russian Premier League released a statement on situation with Lukoil Arena pitch.

On 29 February, RPL Commission on pitches quality control informed Russian Football Union on Lukoil Arena inability to host matches due to insufficient conditions of the pitch.

Today, RPL Commission and RFU expert visited the pitch, as the control is required ten days before Russian Cup match.

According to article 7.5 of Russian Cup Regulations and RPL Commission conclusion, considering positive dynamics of restoring the pitch, noting the agrotechnical procedures, which will let the pitch to fit RFU Standards in ten days, RFU Commission on pitches admission stated the Lukoil Arena pitch’s readiness to host Spartak vs Orenburg match on 14 March.
