Alexander Filtsov came to Krasnodar from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2013. Since that time we has kept the goal of the team in 31 official match, having conceded 40 goals (1 on penalty). In the previous season the goalkeeper helped to his team to get the highest in the club history place – the 5th place in the Russian Championship and to get the right for playing in UEFA Europa League, as the website of Krasnodar informs.

Vladimir Khashig, CEO of Krasnodar, commented on this transfer: “During the time spent in our club Alexander showed himself as a real professional and talented goalkeeper. But with experienced  Andrey Dikan moving to Krasnodar, the competition among the goalkeepers got stronger. So when we received the proposal, which was acceptable from the financial point of view, we accepted it. We would like to thank Alexander Filtsov for his work and we wish to him a lot of professional success in his new team”.
