In the match against Lokomotiv the Army team was the first to concede a goal, but managed to equalize and take the lead before the halftime. However they did not keep the winning score. This is the first time scenario of PFC CSKA matches in the Russian championships. As for the Railwaymen, they know this kind of game: in 2004 their away match against Rotor was played exactly like that: scored the opener, conceded two goals before the halftime and made a draw at the end of the game.

In two away matches in a row the Army team finished their game in minority – this is a new club record. In 2000 and 2004 the Army team players also were sent off in two away matches in a row, but in one of these two games finished the game with equal squads.
