Jano Ananidze moves to Rotor Volgograd

Former Spartak Moscow academy graduate Jano Ananidze has returned to the Russian Premier Liga after signing with Rotor Volgograd. The Georgian midfielder had spent the previous six months with Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta, making six league appearances.

Ananidze played six RPL games last season for Spartak before the winter break without scoring. In total the 27-year-old has scored 16 goals in 152 RPL games across spells for Spartak Moscow, FC Rostov and Krylia Sovetov Samara.
