On 12 January, a meeting of the Board of Directors of FC Dynamo was held, during which it was decided to appoint Pavel Pivovarov as the general director of the club. Previous incumbent Yuri Belkin becomes the president of FC Dynamo, and will focus on interaction with the football community, the club's advisory board and the Dynamo Society.
"I am grateful to Yuri Belkin, who for a year and a half successfully dealt with a large range of issues and did everything necessary to form a new system of club management. Pavel Pivovarov, a highly qualified specialist who is recognized both in our country and in Europe, is joining our team today as General Director. He has extensive industry experience, many years of experience in the world's most prestigious sports institutions, including the European Club Association (ECA), the FIFA and RFU Dispute Resolution Chamber and the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.

In particular, to form a long-term strategy for the development of Dynamo as a successful European club, implement complex projects, monitor compliance with financial fair play and further improve the club's management system," said Yuri Solovyov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FC Dynamo Moscow JSC, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank.
Pavel Pivovarov had previously served as Executive Director of Zenit St. Petersburg, and has been a member of the Legal Committee, Deputy Chamber for Dispute Resolution, member of the Committee on the Status of Players of the Russian Football Union since 2012.
From 2017 to 2020 he was a board member of the Russian Premier Liga, while from 2008 to 2020 he was a member of the permanent task force on institutional relations, a member of the Statutory Commission, and Chairman of the Legal Advisory Panel to the ECA.
