print version

Khimki has been joined at the training camp in Turkey by striker Senin Sebai, who has signed a contract with the club. The Ivorian had previously played under manager Igor Cherevchenko for Baltika Kaliningrad in the 2017/18 season, when he finished as top scorer in the FNL.

Sebai had played for Moldovan outfit Saksan, Romania’s Astra and Belarusian side FC Slutsk, after which he moved to Baltika. Later, the player moved to Tambov and helped the team reach the RPL. His last club before joining Khimki was Tobol in Kazakhstan.

"It's good that I had time for the evening training session and saw the team,” Sebai told the club’s press service. “I was warmly received by both the players and the coaching staff, who know me well. It was important that the head coach was familiar with my abilities and invited me to Khimki. A few years ago, we had a good season at Baltika. And when I found out that Igor Gennadievich wanted to see me in the team, I agreed without hesitation. The Russian Premier Liga is a strong championship, I want to try my hand here and help the team win.”
