Rostov sign Gambian striker Sowe on loan

FC Rostov have confirmed the loan signing of Ali Sowe from CSKA Sofia until the end of the season. The Russian Premier Liga side have the right to make the transfer permanent. 

Sowe started his career in the Gambian league, from where he moved to Chievo and played on loan for a number of Italian teams. He spent the 2017/18 season with Skenderbeu, scoring 21 goals in 33 matches.

Since the 2018/19 season the striker scored 32 goals in the Bulgarian league, including eight goals this season. In this season’s UEFA Europa League, he has scored five goals in 10 matches.
