Anton Zabolotny signs for CSKA

CSKA Moscow have completed the signing of FC Sochi forward Anton Zabolotny on a three-year contract. The former Army club youth team product is returning to his first club after almost a decade.

Last season Zabolotny returned his most prolific top-flight season, with nine goals for Sochi as they qualified for Europe. The striker is currently training with the Russian national team ahead of Euro 2020 warm-up friendlies.

In total, Zabolotny has scored 19 goals in 93 Russian Premier Liga matches across spells with Tosno, Zenit St. Petersburg and Sochi.
