Dmitry Chistyakov joins champions Zenit permanently

print version

Dmitry Chistyakov has turned his Zenit loan from Rostov into a permanent deal. The centre-back has penned a four-year contract with the RPL champions.

St. Petersburg native Chistyakov arrived at the Gazprom Arena on loan last October, making 14 league appearances and one assist. He had previously spent four years in Zenit’s youth system before spending two years at Shinnik Yaroslavl, then helping Tambov to earn promotion to RPL and finally playing for Rostov.

Chistyakov has been called up to the full national team squad before, without making an appearance.
