Zenit St. Petersburg’s young central defender Danila Prokhin has moved permanently to Rostov after signing a five-year contract. The 20-year-old spent the second part of last season on loan at Sochi, where he will continue on loan for the whole 2021/22 season.

Prokhin started his career in St. Petersburg, playing for Zenit and Zenit-2. He played 11 matches for the senior team, including two in the UEFA Champions League, and became RPL champion, Russian Cup winner, and Russian Super Cup winner.
