Igor Shalimov has been appointed head coach of Ural Ekaterinburg on a two-year contract. He has already arrived in Ekaterinburg and will hold his first training session tomorrow.
Shalimov made his managerial RPL debut in 2003 at Uralan Elista. From 2008 to 2011, he coached the Russian women's national team before joining the FC Krasnodar setup in 2015, where he was head coach from 2016 to 2018, before spells at Khimki and Akhmat Grozny.
