print version

Khimki have parted ways with manager Igor Cherevchenko after his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

He was in charge for exactly 13 months, in which time he oversaw 33 RPL matches, winning almost half of them.

Cherevchenko began with a bang after being appointed in September 2020 during a difficult period. After steadying the ship, he guided Khimki to 10 wins from his first 15 RPL matches before achieving Khimki’s best ever league finish of eighth in the 2020/21 season.
