Arsenal Tula make Stepanov transfer permanent

Danil Stepanov has joined Arsenal Tula on a permanent basis after impressing the club on loan from Rubin Kazan so far this season. The 21-year-old left-back has signed a long-term contract with the Gunners.

Arsenal exercised their right to make his move permanent after Stepanov became almost ever-present at Arsenal Stadium, scoring one goal and making four assists in 16 Russian Premier Liga appearances so far this campaign.

Last season he played 22 RPL games on loan at Rotor Volgograd, scoring one goal and assisting another. He has become a fixture in the Russia under-21 side this year too, playing every minute of the last five Euro 2023 qualifiers.
