Rubin Kazan have completed the signing of Aleksandr Lomovitsky from Spartak Moscow. The 23-year-old winger has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Lomovitsky was a pupil of the Spartak Moscow youth system, going on to play 46 matches for the senior side, as well as scoring four goals in 36 games for Spartak II. On top of that he played 55 games on loan at two other RPL clubs; Arsenal Tula (47 matches and four goals across two spells) and Khimki (eight matches, two goals).
For Spartak, he played 12 matches in European competitions, while also representing Russia at different youth team levels. In the summer of 2021, he played in all three matches for the under-21s at the European Championship.
