Lokomotiv Moscow have moved to fill the gaps left by Fedor Smolov and Vitaly Lisakovich’s departures by signing French forward Wilson Isidor from Monaco. The 21-year-old has penned a four-and-a-half year deal with the Railroaders.
Isidor developed as a youngster in the Rennes academy system before moving to Monaco three years ago. Since the summer of 2019 he has spent two season-long loan spells in the French third-tier, racking up 17 goals in 42 appearances.
This campaign he has made four Ligue Un appearances for Monaco, as well as making his Champions League debut against Shakhtar Donetsk. He has an explosive record at youth levels for France, scoring seven goals in just five caps for the under-19 side after four goals in seven games for the under-18s.
