FC Nizhny Novgorod have completed the signing of Dmitry Stotsky, after being released by Krasnodar this week. The 32-year-old has signed a deal until the end of this season, and will wear the number 89 shirt for Aleksandr Kerzhakov’s side.
Kaliningrad-born Stotsky developed through the Baltika youth system before making his debut for the senior side in November 2009. After a loan spell at Lithuanian side Klaipeda, he moved to Ufa in 2015, spending three and a half years in Bashkortostan.
Krasnodar snapped him up in 2018, the same summer that he made his debut for the Russian national team in a friendly match against the Czech Republic, replacing Denis Cheryshev. While with the Bulls he twice finished in third place in the Russian Premier Liga.
In all, Stotsky has scored 12 goals in 146 RPL matches.
