Khimki midfielder Aleksandr Troshechkin has left the club to join Akhmat Grozny on a permanent transfer, and has already trained with his new teammates at their training camp in Turkey. The deal will run until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Troshechkin started his career in the Lokomotiv Moscow youth system before moving briefly to Anzhi as a teenager and then on to Rostov. He won the FNL Cup in three consecutive loan spells - at Fakel Voronezh, Tosno and Avangard Kursk - as well as lifting the Russian Cup with Tosno in 2018.
The following summer he moved to Khimki, with whom he earned promotion to the RPL and reached the Russian Cup Final at the end of his first season. He has scored three goals in 51 top-flight appearances, including one in 15 games this season so far.
