Nikita Chernov joins Spartak immediately, Gaponov loaned to Krylia

Krylia Sovetov Samara defender Nikita Chernov has moved forward his transfer to Spartak with immediate effect, having previously signed an agreement to join in the summer. The 26-year-old central defender signed a contract until the end of 2026 in early February. 

By mutual agreement, the transfer took place now, with Ilya Gaponov moving in the opposite direction on loan. His agreement runs until the summer, but includes an option for Krylia to buy out his full rights then.

Chernov previously played for CSKA, Enisey, Ural, and since 2019 for Krylia. He has also represented Russia at different age groups up to full senior level, having played twice under Fabio Capello in 2015.

Since 2018, Gaponov has played 59 matches for Spartak-2 and 23 matches for the senior side.
