Rakitsky leaves Zenit St. Petersburg

Zenit’s Ukrainian defender Yaroslav Rakitsky has left the Russian Premier Liga after his club agreed to his request to terminate his contract.

Rakitsky joined Zenit in January 2019, scoring seven goals in 108 matches, as well as providing 15 assists. He became a three-time RPL champion in St. Petersburg, also winning one Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups.
