FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod officially presented Artem Gorlov as new head coach of the team.
35-year-old coach joined Pari NN after leaving Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Gorlov became second youngest head coach in RPL, only 33-year-old Guillermo Abascal from Spartak Moscow is younger than him. New Nizhny coach will start his work on 7 January.
Gorlov, born in 1987, started coaching career in 2011 as analyst coach in SKA Energia, then continued the same position in Luch Energia. He worked as head coach in FC Domodedovo (started with second team, then moved to the first), Kuban-2, FC Dolgoprudny, Palanga, Lokomotiv Daugavpils (now Noah Jurmala), Znamya Truda before getting the job in Enisey in June 2022. Krasnoyarsk team finished the first part of First League season as fourth in the relegation/play-off zone.
Gorlov came to Pari NN after month-and-half since Mikhail Galaktionov left the team for Lokomotiv Moscow. Nizhny Novgorod team goes twelfth with 19 points in RPL before the season will be resumed in March.
