FC Krasnodar made changes in the coaching staff ahead of winter training camps start.
45-year-old Vladimir Ivic became new team head coach, he signed two-year contract with the club. His staff will be joined by Milos Veselinovic, Sinisa Gogic and Christos Kelpekis.
During playing career Ivic represented Proleter, Partizan, Borussia Moenchengladbach, AEK Athens, Aris Saloniki and PAOK, at the international level he appeared eight times for Yugoslavia national team (later Serbia & Montenegro national team).
In 2013 Ivic started as coach in PAOK youth team, in March 2016 he became first team head coach and left club in June 2017. Later the Serbian coached Maccabi Tel-Aviv for two years (2018–2020) and spent four months in charge of Watford (August–December 2020). In June 2022 coach returned to Maccabi and had been working there before moving to Krasnodar. Ivic led PAOK to win in 2016/17 Greece Cup and captured two league titles with Maccabi in 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.
Aleksandr Storozhuk, who was hired as first team coach in March, moved back to Krasnodar-2 staff and became head coach. Under him Krasnodar finished fourth in 2021/22 season and reached winter break of current season as eighth. 41-year-old coach spent 29 games in RPL as head coach earning 13 wins, 7 draws and 9 losses.
